Orchestral Strings to Electric Guitars
When the action is too high, a seam opens, or the bow hairs break, playing turns into a fight. We get instruments playing well and at their best, and we return amps and electronics to clean signal and proper function. We know that the difference in a great repair comes down to a thousandth of an inch, and we will spend the time to get it right.

- Bridges, soundposts, pegs, nuts, and saddles

String and Amp Repair Questions
Yes. Stephen handles violins, violas, cellos, and double basses, plus acoustic and electric guitars, basses, mandolins, and banjos.
Not for string instruments. We evaluate them for free and give you an official estimate. Amps are the exception, with a $56 diagnostic fee.
Finding a fault in an amp or keyboard means opening it up and tracing the circuit, which takes real bench time. The $56 diagnostic is paid upfront, and it's credited toward the repair if you go ahead. If you decide not to, the fee covers the time we spent finding the problem.
Our goal is one week for most repairs. If your instrument needs parts ordered or more time on the bench, we'll tell you before then, not after.
Bring it back. Every repair is guaranteed for 30 days, and we'll fix the issue for free. The guarantee doesn't cover instruments that have been dropped or mishandled.
